The last words of an inmate on death row in Texas were handwritten onto a roll of film. The material used is the green film stock that signals the start of a film. The filmstrip becomes a ribbon of text that is legible on the floor and forms a triangle. The sentences can only be read on the floor: in the projection the writing is optically chopped up.
